Amy Robson
Hiya! I’m Amy & I’m 23. I had my diagnosis of Crohn’s Disease at age 7. I was then rediagnosed with Crohn’s Colitis aged 17. In 2011, my illness got severe to the point where it was have an ostomy bag or die, so in August 2011 I had my panproctocolectomy & ‘Stacey Stoma’ was formed! My motto is ‘Ostomism not Pessimism’ which I created myself, to remind myself that no matter how different I may feel at times, without my bag I wouldn’t be here & I wouldn’t be able to do the things I do now; such as eat, travel, enjoy life & work full-time.
